Rio Launaxi Guest House

The owners texted me 15 minutes before arrival that they were doing a little construction work on the outside, that I could cancel if I did not like that. I said no it's ok. But on arrival, it was a mess. Why did they not even clean the terrace for their guests to sit? It was full of cardboard, paint buckets and other tools. The tables and seats were full of dirt. That was the least they could have done. Also, it was very weird that during the evening, random residents from the village came to burn trash in their garden... I politely said "Buona Sera" but they kept staring at me. The room was not clean, the shower head was full of chalk, there were no blankets (only the cover) and it did not smell clean. The toilet did not flush well and there were insects (red little spiders). The host only was communicating via WhatsApp and mad at me why I did not book via them but with Booking.com. overall, it was most definitely not worth it. I felt unwelcome. It was the worst I have seen in all Sardinia. I do not think the hosts have bad intentions, I only think they do not see it through a guest's perspective.
