5 wheelhouse apartments

Apartment 5 was on the second floor with the key in a lockbox. There was ample allocated parking for each apartment. The apartment was extremely well furnished and the modern kitchen was absolutely lovely and well equipped including a dining table and chairs. There is no meal with this booking but it is literally next door to Peet's which is a very popular eating place. If you intend to dine out in Lochinver, you must book Peet's or Delilah's as both are very busy in the evening. There are also a couple of cafes nearby but these do not serve evening meals.

There are no apartments on the ground floor and the stairs are quite steep. If we were booking again, I would try to book on the first floor.

My stay at 5 Wheelhouse Apartment was fantastic, thanks to its perfect blend of convenience, comfort, and thoughtful hospitality. The location couldn’t be better—right next door to Peet’s Restaurant, where my husband and I enjoyed delicious meals and genuinely friendly service from the staff. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean and well-appointed, with everything thoughtfully set up for a comfortable stay. The host was incredibly responsive, promptly addressing any questions we had, which made the experience seamless. To top it all off, a complimentary bottle of wine awaited us, adding a warm, welcoming touch. We’d highly recommend 5 Wheelhouse Apartment for anyone seeking a convenient and delightful stay!

I was surprised to find that the washing machine was not a combo dryer as well, but there was a drying rack in one of the bedrooms that we made use of which solved our drying problem.

Space in the bedrooms was a challenge. No where to keep suitcase and wardrobes were very small. No mirrors in the bedroom. No dishwasher tablets

Exceptional apartment- spacious, clean and comfortable very well decorated - very cosy and warm. Spacious Kitchen kitted out better than mine at home. In central location- good parking - excellent restaurant next door.

Up 4 small flights of stairs but worth the effort

No hot water in kitchen but we could have switched on immersion . Pressure very low . No big deal , there is a dishwasher
