Historic canal house in green residential area

Perfect location, about 15 minutes from the central station. Very nice and attentive hosts, I enjoyed staying here very much. Everything just as advertised. I can only recommend them, I have no complaints.

The landlords were very nice and helpful.

The stairs. Too many Dutch stairs. I'm getting older and found the stairs were too many. Also, the kitchen was on a different floor which added to the amount of stairs I climbed.

Superb value, a friendly welcome, basic but efficient in a good location for exploring Utrecht.

Small areas not as clean as I would like: around the hinges of the toilet seat and the extractor fan in the kitchen both needed attention

My room was located on the top floor. Getting there involved three separate flights of very steep stairs, with doors and dark hallways in between. The poor lighting made it difficult to move safely, and the light switchs were hard to locate. The room did not meet expectations in terms of cleanliness – there were hairs in both the room and the bathroom.
