Notti Etrusche a Sovana

The town is lovely - it was VERY quiet when we went (early June) and the pensione is off the main square down a very short walkway/alley full of flowers. Luckily we found legal parking just outside the wall of the town so we didn't have far to walk to get our stuff into the room.

It is all a contactless access - this means keys are in lockboxes - some which are awkward to get into. 2. it would be nice if the owner clearly TYPED out the wifi password as reading the handwriting of a complicated password is well annoying. Also if the password can be communicated in advance for those that are not using a data plan it would mean better communication with the owner when things need clarifying to find/get into the residence. 3. More obvious signage to the hotel - eg. a small sign on the pavement at the entrance to the walkway alley would be helpful.

Great value accommodation in a superb little village. We booked at the 11th hour and it was a most pleasant experience. After hours check-in was easy and all questions answered quickly and clearly. Overall we were very happy.
