The Elms Static Caravan

I arrived at the reception and was quickly greeted by a gentleman who checked me in. (It was Christmas Eve, so only a few guests were on-site). He was very friendly and helpful, and emphasised that I should not hesitate to request assistance if needed. Having seen that the temperature was due to drop to -1oC I was concerned that I would be cold, but the caravan was already warm when I arrived and remained that way for my stay. I was also greeted with a pack of mince pies! The bed was comfortable and the bedding spotless. There was a parking spot right by the van.

The settee looked a little worn, though clean. Having to pay per device for wifi, especially as the phone signal in the area was poor.

Fantastic location for us and our puppy, secure field to let her off lead in. Everyone was friendly and the caravan was just what we needed, nice and warm with everything we could ask for. Will definitely be returning!

The beds are a little thin.

Very friendly staff. Perfect location for what we needed. Caravan needs a slight upgrade! But great for families with a dog :)

Overall the accommodation had better space than expected and reasonably well equipped for the price. I have back issues so am always apprehensive about beds, I found these quite comfortable and had no problems getting a good night's sleep. The site is well organized, and the site rules are entirely reasonable for everyone. Some have left reviews complaining of the rules, but then maybe they are the neighbours from hell no one wants. Of course it isn't the Ritz but it is very good for the budget. The site shop is small but surprisingly well stocked with a good range, but if you want a main supermarket then it's but 12 minutes drive away. Well done. Recommended.
