All perfect.Staff were extremely helpful. Massive thanks to Sandra in housekeeping who went above and beyond to help my wife with a few situations.Breakfast was one of the best.Lots of it and extremely good food,great combination.

Very cool castle, grounds were lovely, unique details in every room, comfortable bar lounge area, loved the castle tour, the breakfast at Jack Fenn’s, the bed was large and comfortable! Smaller castle means it was quiet and wasn’t overrun with people (12 rooma), and the staff was very good with my kids!

Nothing- I loved everything about our stay!

"Good castle experience but a little TLC needed."

Both restaurants were very good, food was fantastic, choice was good and atmosphere relaxed. Thoroughly recommend The Library Restaurant. Our room (room 4) was very nice, spacious, clean and comfortable, and fitted in with the castle theme.

The common areas are in need of some improvement. The main bar looks great but the seating area/lounge is far from comfortable. The bar did not open on Saturday until 14:30, which is ok but not great service. We tried to order tea and coffee in the lounge and this was unavailable. The options were go back to your room and order room service or go to the restaurant, the restaurant is nice but not somewhere you want to relax with a cup tea. It’s a minor detail but we stay in roughly 5/6 hotels a year and have never had this issue.

The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming on arrival and throughout our stay. All the staff, especially Stephen the manager, really engaged with all the guests, even putting the Ireland football match on for us. The tour of the castle was excellent, and well worth doing. The bar was really lovely (pint of Guinness was 10/10), the restaurant and food was out of this world, the restaurant staff were extremely friendly, and the breakfast at Jack Fenns was absolutely amazing. We will definitely be back again.
