From the moment I booked Riad Sala Art, I knew I was in good hands. Ali messaged me straight away on WhatsApp, so I had his contact details before I even arrived. He then met me personally to guide me to the Riad, asked about my food preferences, and gave me spot-on recommendations for local restaurants. On the day I left, he even walked me to the taxi point and cleverly suggested I film the route — and thank goodness he did. (I can get lost in my own house, so this was genius.) Now for the Riad itself… wow. Spacious, full of colour, and beautifully renovated — you can feel the love in every corner. This was once their grandmother’s home, and that history gives the place real warmth and soul. Ali and his brother have done such a sensitive job restoring it, and it shows. The roof terrace? Breathtaking. The rooms? So comfortable and stylish. The location? Perfect — just a short walk from the main square, but peaceful and tucked away. As a travel professional of 25 years, I’m trained to notice the small things. This stay? Not one negative. I fell in love with the Riad — and the people behind it. Ali and his brother have other properties too, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to clients, friends, or fellow travel experts. I’ll absolutely be back. Ali — thank you. Truly.

Lovely accommodation with great personal support of the two brothers hosting you. Used to be their grandparents house, which they modernised yet with the old character preserved. Great authentic, and fun place to stay including your own rooftop hideout. The two bothers are very friendly and go the extra mile to make sure you have a great time.

Great location and the place is very tastefully done up. one of a kind experience. hosts are super helpful and responsive, and helped print boarding passes for me too!

its sited in medina so u cant drive up to the door. have to walk about 5 mins from nearest drop off point. that was a known issue and common to all accoms in the medina.

Ali and Simo are amazing hosts! They not only take care of their property as they also take special care of their guests! The house is amazing, the most central in town and they offer the best support you can wish for, they definetly go the extra mile to make sure your experience in Marrakesh remains unforgettable. The breakfast is incredible and once again, all details are prepared with the heart! Ali and Simo are already a reference and we foresee an huge sucess for all the initiatives they wish to take! The owners are the best, they helped us a lot and they explained us the incredible story of the place. The riad is so beautiful, you have flat all for you with a toilet and a shower. They will welcome you and find a solution for every problem you could have. We were just sad to have just one night there.
