The bed was quite hard for my taste

La habitación muy amplia y cómoda, limpia, luminosa, con smart tv y un área común con balcón. Los chicos que atienden son muy amables y están al pendiente de tus necesidades. La ubicación es excelente, a unos pasos del museo y la zona arqueológica. Sin duda me volvería a hospedar.

The only thing is that the shower doesn't work very well and the breakfasts aren't very good.

The place is very quiet and clean. Our room and bathroom were spacious. The staff is friendly.

There was no filtered water. And they brought us bottled water in the room without telling us that it's not complementary then asked us to pay for all of them at the end of our stay. (it's very cheap but it's not okay to pretend something is free if it's not) The location isn't the best as it's far from everything but we had known it before we booked. We ordered breakfast and after about 40 minutes we asked why we still haven't got anything. They said they need another 15 minutes.... As we had some plans we didn't really had time to eat up our breakfast eventually. Our first night was terrible as the room felt like a mosquito nest. We killed 60+ mosquitos and there were still tons of them. I think they must have come out of the drain as there were alway more and more in the bathroom (not sure tho). They kindly provided us with mosquito spray the other day but we couldn't let any fresh air in after using it as the windows don't have fly screens. The mattress was extremely hard for me.

We had two rooms with a wonderful adjacent common area with large deck. It felt more like a suite! This was our 2nd visit to Varanasi and we specifically opted to stay in Sarnath. Shree Nanda Guest House is walking distance to the Museum and Archeological Garden. There's also several restaurants ion the main road ncluding The Legacy where we ate several meals. Excellent service and a great value! Shivani the owner efficiently made arrangements for all our taxi needs including when we went to ghats in Varanasi. We stayed five nights and it was the perfect home base. We made the right choice.
