Stunning, newly renovated, Edwardian townhouse

Very clean. Comfortable. Bus stop close by Milk and biscuits on arrival

Spacious, good number of loos inc ensuites, great kitchen, on really good bus routes literally outside the door.

Only 3 windows in the whole house open, rest are painted shut, not good in warm weather, fans provided but you need fresh air. Garden not usable except the seating area.

Modern, clean property, good location for buses into centre. Fast replies to email enquiries.

Nicely furnished and decorated. Spacious, light and airy. Great kitchen and lounge in particular. Everything we needed plus a beautiful garden. The owners provided very clear information to us beforehand and it was very close to the centre of Oxford.

The location is great, the room is clean and cozy. The landlord couple is very helpful. The door handle was broken on the last day of my stay. I contacted them and they came to fix it quickly. I hope to stay here again next time I travel.

The house has a nice feel to it with thick, clean carpets, nice hand soaps and a large kitchen. The house's location is great for bus routes into Oxford. The house is warm and clean. There is a large garden which will be lovely in the warmer months. Somebody has clearly thought about the house when renovating it.

The fans on the bathrooms and ensuites don't work. Not all the bedroom windows open. There are quite a lot of bits left from previous guests, eg spices, half eaten bags of crisps, sachets of coffee in the kitchen and half used bottles of things in the bathroom (which included a used shower loofah). These weren't clean and it wasn't really appropriate for them to be there. I can understand the cleaner leaving some of the bottles but this gave the impression of neglect and a lack of care. There was still somebody else's hair around some of the bottles in the bathroom for instance, and the half eaten crisps etc should have been spotted and binned. However the biggest problem is the sound of traffic which goes on much of the night. We adults were in the front and top bedrooms and three out of four of us had disrupted sleep on both nights due to the noise. The fourth is a self proclaimed heavy sleeper and great napper so no surprise they were fine! It really does roar past however, and you can feel the house move when a particularly heavy bus or lorry goes past. Motorbikes were revving on both nights too. The problem isn't helped with the bedroom windows being single glazed sash windows. In the front bedroom they aren't even flush with the frames leaving a cooler room and more exposure to the noise. There really does need to be a note from the host about the traffic noise as it's really disruptive.

The front bedroom was very noisy from the road and could have had better blinds as the street lamps were shinning in. It was a bit cold too

The property felt fresh and clean. Well appointed. Owners were lovely to allow us early checkin after a long flight which allowed us to offload our luggage and have showers and a nap.

One of the beds was a bit uncomfortable and lumpy (low bed) our only negative really, otherwise overall a good stay.
