Hoda Cabin - Luxury lodge with jacuzzi and sauna

The location is really nice with nice views outdoors. The jacuzzi and sauna are also very relaxing (if they work). It’s cozy but with the maximum number of people it might get cramped.

The sauna was defective during our stay, which was really quite disappointing because we booked this accommodation especially for the sauna. The owner send electrician twice, they spend hours in the accommodation working but weren’t able to fix it, which also did not contribute to a relaxing atmosphere. Considering the price and that the sauna is literally advertised in the accommodation title, we were also disappointed that the owner didn’t even offer a partial refund and just said „they are sorry and there is nothing they can do“

The design, the location, the comfort, the vibe everything it just so cozy and relax... My mom really love the lodge, they got us everything what we needed.

Choose a good weather day, I visited there about 4 days everyday with snowstorm... No luck to see aurora while having jacuzzi 😭

Our stay at this house was beyond disappointing. The photos made it look like a luxurious villa, but the reality is completely different – it’s an unfinished guesthouse located in an area that is still under construction. The biggest issue was the lack of curtains or blackout blinds. There were only insect screens on the windows. In Lofoten, it’s almost 24 hours of daylight for half of the year, making sleep practically impossible. The rooms are shockingly small, around 6 square meters each. The beds are arranged side by side, and the third bed is literally placed on top of them. The third person has to sleep basically on top of the other two beds, which is absurd and uncomfortable. There are no wardrobes, just a few hangers in each room, which is far from enough for all your belongings. There’s also no space on the floor to place your luggage. The kitchen is also far from satisfactory – there’s no extractor fan, so when you cook, the whole house fills up with unpleasant smells. The windows were dirty, the house was not well-cleaned, and there was no soap in any of the bathrooms. Additionally, the house is not fully finished.
