Moonlight beach

Beautiful view from the window and terrace. Spacious room, everything is clean. I really liked the breakfasts on the terrace. Everything is great.

Nothing

The location was for us perfect. Directly on a natural quiet beach. You can fall off the bed and you are on the beach. The room is basic but very clean. There is even hot shower, an AC, a fan and a mosquito net. You even have sunbeds and a hammock on the beach with nice shadow areas under the palms. The owner and the lady who is taking care of everything are very nice and friendly and can give you good recommendations on where to go/eat etc. The breakfast is good (Sri Lankan and continental). You can't really swim in the sea because of strong waves and currents but for a short dip it's doable. If you want to swim then you can walk 15 minutes to the end of the beach. There are also some beach clubs. Restaurants are nearby (next door or 10 minutes walking distance to the centre). If you are looking for a nice and quiet beach location for small money and don't need any luxury that is the place to go!

Maybe a second pillow or a bigger one would have been nice. Also pillows for the sunbeds would have been nice. But we actually never asked for that so maybe these are available and in the end nothing to complain about, just a nice extra.

Right on the beach which was very quiet however beware of the waves we saw some girls(late teens/early twenties) get into trouble. There are only three rooms as the building hasn’t finished. It’s got a lovely outlook when you open the curtains. There’s not much around so restaurants are limited but a nice pizza place to the right on the beach.

No hairdryer (as advertised on listing) no kettle in room but we were given one (had our own coffee) Nothing to do with the hotel but the beach has loads of rubbish on it plastic bottles etc such a shame.

Beautiful location on the beach although the building itself is unfinished. Great location for access to Dikwilla beach and Hiriketiya. Be aware whilst the beach immediately in front of the rooms is beautiful you can’t swim there but it’s a short walk to beautiful swimming areas Room is a good size, basic but perfectly functional. Quiet location except for the sound of the waves.

Because the location is fairly remote it would be expected to have a kettle/tea / coffee etc. and even a fridge. Beware of cold showers, no hot water here! Paying in cash only.

The location right by the beach is great. We enjoyed our hammock and sun beds at the beach a lot. The room is spacious and the bed very comfy. Nethmi took very good care of us and prepared tasty breakfast. We recommend staying here.

Great location on a quiet beach. Air con was good. Bed was super comfy and everything was very clean. It's a short and nice walk to restaurants and turtles. Also we could park our tuk tuk safely.
