Stunning Views of Whitby Habour

Quirky little place couldn't fault it

Apart from tv in kitchen wouldn't work ..but didn't spoil .

Fabulous spot with views over the harbour and only a few minutes walk in to Whitby. Clean and comfortable.

Couldn’t get the tv or Alexa working in the kitchen. We didn’t spend much time in there, so not a big deal. Also it’s probably worth noting that the stairs are very steep. If you are a bit unsteady on your feet it could be tricky.

Location was excellent, right on the harbour with easy reach of bars, shops and with a lovely view to look out on from the bedroom. We were lucky enough to get a parking space in the free spaces opposite, although there are plenty of car parks in the vicinity with 24 hour parking just under £12 for 24 hours. It was a perfect base to explore Whitby, and good value for money.

You access the cottage via outside steps into the kitchen, which has a small sofa and table and chairs. It is tiny but perfectly adequate if you wish to eat in, we were only here for 2 nights so did not use this space much.. It overlooks the rear. The first floor houses the large bathroom, again overlooking the back and the second floor, is the bedroom with views over the harbour. They are linked by 2 extremely narrow, curved staircases. We are 55+ and reasonably fit, but we had to take it carefully. It didn't bother us, though, but it is definitely not suited for those who have mobility issues.

Lovely cottage with good faciities, very reasonable price wise, But access is not good if your getting on a bit and with impaired mobility

couple of things not working, extractor in kitchen, light/shaver point in the bathroom, and the extractor in the bathroom the window in the kitchen once opened drops on the sash, i had the devils own job getting it closed.

Nice and clean lovely bedroom

Could not connect to WIFI. And steps were very steep leading up to bedroom my husband knocked his head numerous times and no living room photos on site are very deceiving made kitchen look a lot bigger than it actually was 🙁
