Good evening! We booked an apartment in Old Riga for two nights (30.01–01.02), but our experience was absolutely terrible. The main entrance had massive metal doors that slammed shut with an incredibly loud noise each time someone entered the building. This happened multiple times throughout the night, waking us up at least six times per night. The walls were paper-thin, making it impossible to have any peace. We could hear every sound from the the outside. To make matters worse, our apartment was located right next to the garbage disposal area and a designated smoking zone. This meant that throughout the night, there were drunk and loud people gathering just outside our windows (we were on the first floor), smoking, shouting, and even breaking bottles. The worst experience, however, was on the second night when someone attempted to unlock our apartment door and break in, they were shouting and laughing. We were absolutely terrified, especially since the building felt deserted, and we had no nearby neighbors who could help. We couldn’t sleep for the rest of the night out of fear. A few hours later, the situation escalated even further when the police arrived and started ringing our doorbell due to the disturbances caused by the drunk people outside. Overall, this apartment was completely unlivable, and our stay was filled with stress, fear, and sleepless nights. It was an awful experience, and we would never recommend this place to anyone. We wanted to return part of our money, because we booked apartments to have peaceful night and pleasant experience, however it was like a nightmare…

The design of the studio is really aesthetic. The location is perfect ( close to the port and the city centre)

You can here quite a bit people outside and on the floor up ( we stayed in the ground floor) for example we knew when they were flushing 😅

Very nice, clean, modern and cozy apartment with everything you need from kitchen supplies, towels and a great, super central location.

Very noisy from the street, the entrance door to the building and other apartments. Would bring ear plugs to get a good nights sleep.

There were some noises of people going and leaving... Can't find the electric plug in the bathroom The road was a little bit too internal, bolt drivers sometimes didn't enter inside..
