Aran View Country House and Lodge

Staff were very nice and very helpful

Breakfast was exceptional.

From the minute we arrived, the friendly welcome received, the room with a brilliant sea view, and the breakfast were all exceptional. It really is a gem on the wild Atlantic way. Unfortunately we had only 1 night but will definitely be back.

Nothing to not like about Aran View country house.

A comfortable stay within a 10 minute walk of Doolin with the cave and Cliffs of Moher nearby. The host Sharon was lovely and really helpful as were the staff and Shadow the dog was really friendly. Breakfast was excellent too. Thank you!

Motorcyclists unnecessarily occupying one full car space each when they could easily have used much less space

Stayed in the B&B part of the building, deco and furniture a little dated but adds to the appeal. Front facing rooms have a beautiful view of the ocean and sunset.

No tea/ coffee making facilities in room. That should be standard these days.

Aran View is a beautiful hotel. It is at the top of a hill which leads down to the port and is about a half hour walk away from the port and around 20 minute walk to the bars and restaurants in Doolin. Sharon was a brilliant host. The hotel has several apartments in the courtyard at the back of the hotel and fortunately for us, they had a cancellation for the 3 nights we were there, so Sharon gave us the option of having a full apartment to ourselves instead of a room in the hotel, which was perfect. Breakfast was lovely. It is a bit if a walk to the restaurants, but weather was perfect, so was not an issue for us. Would definitely stay there again.
