Logis Hôtel LE PRESSOIR

Very friendly staff. Had a couple of really nice small talks. Got a good recommendation of a old village (Minerve) to visit. Room is spacious and quiet. Nice view of the hills. Town in walking distance (10 min.) with a good restaurant for Marget (Le village). Nice hills to walk/hike. 40 min away from the beach.

I only did eat one time in the hotel. The food was okay but nothing like a experience of a restaurant. The price of dinner was very budget friendly though. No comments on the hotel.

The staff were completely unreasonable and refused to allow our party to keep our extremely expensive road bikes inside the room with us for the one night we were supposed to stay there. The conjoined value of the two bikes are worth well over $20,000 USD. The staff’s main complaint was that the bikes were “dirty”, which I can assure you was not the case at all. These bikes are religiously cleaned daily. Anyone who has and rides bikes of this caliber know and understand that these are not your average bikes you buy at the local department store. These are professional level bikes that are finely tuned machines. They refused to listen to reason and their solution to this was to tell us to put the bikes in the unsecured back yard in the elements when it was due to rain in the morning. Needless to say, this was completely unacceptable and we got our money back and left. DO NOT COME HERE

Adequate size room for a family of 4; nice view from the pool shame it wasn't open

Didn't realise the price of €118 would increase to 152 with breakfast which didn't start til 8 on a Saturday; restaurant not open on Friday evening; even though the pool was advertised as closing at 8pm, when we arrived at 7.40 with 2 hot tired kids they closed the pool and didn't open til 10am. Rooms need modernising, shower was falling off the wall and blocked with limescale, and rooms were roasting hot. Breakfast was ok but not fantastic
