Manju Baha Hotel

Perfect location, room and restaurant. Lovely staff, everything was very clean and high end furnitures.

The Manju hotel is probably one of the most cozy, friendly and beautifully decorated hotel I've been to in a while. It's a great balance of great quality with still maintaining a very familiar environment. As a plus, this hotel is training recently graduated students in the hospitality and tourism sector, which I find is a great way to contribute to the development of Bhaktapur. The rooms and bathrooms are beautiful. It is located a few minutes walk from the busier parts of the Bhaktapur so very peaceful. The breakfast and dinner there are also very good if you are looking for quieter and slower mornings. A special thanks to Nikita, Karuna, Bhakta and Bishal for their hospitality!

This is a brand new hotel. The room was very beautifully decorated, clean and fresh. The hotel was very clean too! It's in a historical, recently renovated building that used to be a monastery. So pretty! Excellent selection of teas in the room. Very nice attached bathroom. The hotel is also the school for hospitality students. Great concept! Students come from rural areas of Nepal, have their theoretical classes nearby and the practical part is interacting with guests and working at the hotel. It was a pleasure to be a part of their studies and support their development. They were very kind. Food at the restaurant downstairs was very good. One of the best Dal Bhat we've had in Nepal and it was also prepared by the students. The location was great! Not too far from the center, but far enough to be away from the noise. Very good value for money overall.

Although the room was beautiful and clean, there was no hot water most of the time. The door frame of the bathroom entrance was low. I am only 170 cm or 5.5 feet tall, but I managed to hit my head couple of times while entering it. Also sometimes the smell coming out of bathroom is not very pleasant. Double bad is quite small. The mattress is not wide enough, neither duvet even for a rather small size couple. I would definitely go for 2 single bads if you want to get a good sleep. On the day of arrival we asked if it was possible to do the loundry, as we stayed for 2 nights. We handed our clothes and were told it would be ready next day. We got it back during our check out on the following day and although washed, it was still quite a bit wet. The students should receive better training about food service. Although very kind and respectful, it was quite odd that for breakfast one of us was served 2 sunny side up eggs and the other person got only one poached egg. Also, during dinner we ordered 2 portions of the same soup and the soup was served not at the same time with 20 minute time interval. I was puzzled why it happened. Not a big deal at all, but definitely something to work on. Lastly, the management should understand that sometimes little attention is better than excess of attention.

Everything, every single thing. The room are decorated with care to match the vibe of the city , with a lot of taste. The staff are so helpful and nice , sweet everything u waiting for . This is a priceless hotel with a little price. The breakfast is so good !

Honestly nothing, the only thing I can said it's maybe in the future do have a reall coffee machine but everything was perfect
