I can't think of another guesthouse I've stayed in that's as perfect as Bloemenzee Boutique B&B. This is the first "10" rating I've given on booking.com, because Frans and Lidwien have gotten everything right. The most important - their warmth and hospitality. From there: the beautiful property, with outstanding modern design and decor, the lovely room with all amenities and everything working in good order, including both a shower and a huge tub (that fits 2). To top it off, Frans's gourmet cooking. We were fortunate that (not knowing how good he is) we booked dinner in-house in advance. Like being at your own Michelin-star restaurant. Breakfast also delicious and artistically presented - come downstairs when you smell Frans's fresh bread baking. Only 40 min from CPT airport, a perfect destination on its own for a several-day stay, or as a launch-pad for wine country or the Garden route.

It's a 10 - they get everything right. Not even a quibble.

Lidwien and Frans are excellent hosts. The rooms are large and well furnished with a stylish en-suite. All spotlessly clean. The breakfast is incredible and, if you are staying on nights other than Sunday or Wednesday (Frans's nights off) so is the dinner (at extra cost). Unbelievable - it's like having a private Michelin chef. Highly recommended.
