The place was beautiful and the scenery around it is lovely! The staff was also very helpful and kind.

It is a bit isolated so you have to get a car/bike. There isn’t really any beach but you do have a little space around with some deck chairs to sit

We had booked two valets and when we arrived we only had 1 two of us had to sleep on the floor we will not be back

I liked the seafront and the friendly staff.

Beautiful location, immersion in local culture, pool table and lounge, good snorkeling and swimming (even saw octopus and manta ray as well as many sting rays and fish). Free access to bikes. Nearby market.

WiFi didn’t work in all the rooms. Water not drinkable. Somewhat limited market hours as well as hibiscus restaurant closed for some meals during major holidays: just a heads up to plan ahead when visiting during holidays. Communication was challenging at times since we only speak English.

The bungalow is nice. There is shampoo and shower gel, but you can't tell which is which. The air conditioning works well. You can book a private boat transfer directly from Raiatea Downtown or the airport.

There is always loud music playing at Hotel Hibiscus and mostly annoying, very bass-heavy banging. From morning to evening, the music can be heard even in the furthest bungalow. Later, during dinner, it is really unpleasant. Several neighbours also like to play crazy loud music. There are no mosquito nets. Paths lead to the veranda, but the patio door has no lock and can only be opened and closed from the inside. Access is from the back through a door and there is no light here. It's easy to stumble here at night. At least in bungalow 5 (Tipanier). The fridge is really annoyingly loud. The restaurant was disappointing.
