DANG dang Balbago Beach-Private Remote Island Escape

Super nice remote spot, spend 5 days here to disconnect and it worked! The location offers fun tours, we went snorkelling, fishing and visited a local village nearby. Can only recommend!

Amazing place, far from touristic cities, calm, beautiful nature. Perfect IF you want to chill in the nature. Houses are great- not too hot from the sun, beautiful bed. Very clean.It has a good food as well and very sociable vibe- staff is super nice.

Maybe toilets could have some upgrade, but still this place feels like haven on earth

We spent time to carefully read what to expect of Dang Dang so we knew what it would be like: calm, relaxing, beautiful views, and quiet. We loved how our little hut faced the beach and we could see the sunrise from our bed. Everything is clean, aesthetic, and I particularly loved meeting the people (family members) who run the operation. I took a cooking class and learned how to make Chicken Adobo ( I think that’s what it’s called). We hung out in the hammocks and enjoyed the beach. You need to pay an additional charge to eat lunch and dinner. The family offers three different plates of food and rice at each meal for guests to choose from. It felt more like a home stay to us than being at a resort. If you’re open to trying local food and content to just “be” and not do much, then this is the perfect place to go. When you book, the owner will give explicit instructions of how to arrive and give suggestions of services to use. She can also help book mini vans or other means of transportation when you’re ready to leave. I’m travelling with my 18 year old daughter and we agree that this was one of our favourite spots on Palawan. Thank you, Naidy and family for a beautiful stay. ❤️

We loved our entire stay here, from the transfer by boat (we saw a turtle pass us by!) to the food, falling asleep to the sound of the ocean and the lovely people who hosted us. Our favourite place we stayed in the Philippines. Thankyou so much!

Un petit coin de paradis, parfait pour se reposer loin de l'agitation d'El Nido. Tout le monde nous a accueillis chaleureusement (coucou Wowai!). Nous avons regretté de n'y avoir passé qu'une nuit!

Das Essen bietet leider nur eine sehr geringe Auswahlmöglichkeit.. wenn man als Vegetarier nur die Wahl zwischen Reis und Nudeln hat, ist das für den geforderten Preis nicht angemessen. Cola Zero war verfügbar, was auch nicht selbstverständlich ist, allerdings nur 1 Tag. Die Anreise ist der größte Nachteil.. 5km über eine wirklich grenzwertige „Straße“.. muss man wissen und wollen. Besser wohl den angebotenen Transfer vom Hafen mit dem Boot nehmen.
