Waverley Apartments, The Wheelhouse

Beautifully appointed flat in a central location with some lovely views out to the Firth of Clyde. We loved the comfortable large bed in the main bedroom. Living room was great for relaxing in and was furnished with a super size TV with Sky channels & Netflix. Great shower in the bathroom. Kitchen had all the mod cons you will need for a self catering break.

We liked everything really. If we had to be really picky the floorboards in the hall and bathroom were very creaky.

It is in the perfect location on the front of Gourock, with excellent views across the Clyde and everything on your doorstep. The apartment was very spacious, clean, and had everything you would need for a great getaway. Cannot fault it at all. Was that good we have booked to stay again. 😊

Great location, spacious and modern. Everything you need for a short stay. Bed was extremely comfortable! Little outdoor seating area is a great sun trap.

Was a very cosy home. Location perfect at the main street in the city with view to the Clyde. Could not be better. The managment was also great and all the time available and positive to all questions.

It was lovely. Clean, comfortable, every facility you’d want and very well decorated and furnished. Kitchen fully equipped . Host very professional, helpful and welcoming. Ideally located in the heart of Gourock.

Stephen was a fantastic host. He met us on arrival and showed us round the apartment. It was beautifully decorated and furnished with lots of lovely little finishing touches. The beds were super comfy and the shower was great. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you might need and the location is perfect with the cafes, shops and Sainsbury's local just opposite. Stephen recommended Cafe Continental opposite and we had bacon rolls & delicious coffee there - it has a great view (on a clear day) across the Clyde!

We initially couldn't find the place, but called Stephen who then met us outside. Perhaps detailed information on the precise location once you've booked would be helpful. We loved the apartment and would definitely book again. The only thing that was missing was a full length mirror!
