Apartment City Center Terrace with Iconic View

The A/C worked well to keep the apartment cool for sleeping. Bed was comfy enough.

Very basic, fine for a day or two, would be a problem for a longer stay. Noise from the square on weekend nights is very loud, take earplugs if going. None of the blinds fit well so they let a fair amount of light in so take a sleep mask too. The 2nd and third flights of stairs into the apartment are really challenging, if you have any sort of mobility issues this is probably not the apartment for you. Payment of the city tax is expected in cash which meant finding an ATM and trying to get change as we never have cash. If you don't close the bathroom door quickly enough after your shower you will set the smoke alarm off. Conflicting messages on WhatsApp and email about what do with trash on check out.

very steep stairs but manageable. Fine for younger people for one or two nights.

Poziția centrală, cu vedere la piața centrală și la catedrală. Terasa mare cu vedere, dotările bucătăriei.

Studioul este la etajul 3, iar ca să ajungi la el urci niște trepte abrupte, mai ales în cazul ultimelor 2 etaje.

Die Lage direkt am Marktplatz, sehr praktisch da alle fussläufig erreichbar . Die Dachterrasse.

Die Fenster sind einfach verglast, wenn Markt ist, wird man um 04:00 wach, weil direkt unten aufgebaut wird. Schlafcouch ist unbequem und Laken dafür passte nicht.

Mooie locatie midden in de stad

Schnuckelige Unterkunft unterm Dach mit einer super Dachterrasse. Die Lage ist hervorragend, direkt am Markt von Gouda. Fahrräder können in der nahegelegenen, öffentlichen Fahrradgarage sicher untergebracht werden (die ersten 24h sind kostenfrei). Das Appartement erreicht man über mehrere steile Treppen, was den Charme der kleinen Dachwohnung aber noch mehr unterstützt. (Größere Koffer sind hier eher schwierig.) Bett und Couch sind super bequem und gemütlich. Die Küche bietet eine Grundausstattung. Zu beiden Seiten hat man einen tollen Blick auf die Stadt. Der Kontakt zur hilfsbereiten Vermieterin läuft ganz unkompliziert. Echte Empfehlung für Gäste, die etwas Besonderes wollen.

Geweldige locatie middenin het centrum met alles op loopafstand. Eigenaresse hielp ons prettig en snel toen bleek dat de sleutels niet in het sleutelkastje aanwezig waren.

Door de centrale ligging ook wat last van geluidsoverlast van de straat. Afzuiging in de badkamer werkt niet. Stijle trappen naar de 2e etage maar hier waren we van op de hoogte dus voor ons geen probleem.

Right on the town square, convenient for all local amenities. Terrace was beautiful. Great for a short stay and had everything that would be needed.

Didn't realise how being how close to the square would be so noisy. Imagined Gouda to be a quiet sleepy town but its party central. Loud music and shouting until 3am. Although not the fault of the host, something to consider when staying here.
