The entrance door was always closed and you needed a key to unlock from the inside, this was very dangerous in an emergency situation.

The location was excellent. Perfect for a couple with 2 small children.

The 2 single beds are small and uncomfortable and they are they in a room that is also too small for 2 adults.

Beautiful apartment with balconies over looking the sea. Perfect location for the beach sea, sunset, restaurant, bars and the uniquely wonderful Cefalu vibe. Fantastic location, comfortable apartment with amazing views of the sea and the mountains. We loved that it felt Sicilian with lots of character - an old dresser, kitchen (old but everything there), authentic ornaments etc and not over modernised. Very clean apartment, clean fresh towels and bed linen, welcome tray of goodies. Lots of space for 4 of us for being right in the centre of the old town. Windows were double/triple glazed and good at shutting out street noise late at night, although we loved being right in the buzz of it all. Good communication from hosts as well - very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely return and great value.

Shower could be upgraded but is workable.

Air conditioning leaked so spent 3 days stepping over bowls and wet towels in hallway. Fifth floor walk up (60 steps) got a little tedious. The electrical outlets in the kitchen were pulled loose from the wall - could be dangerous. Our contact via WhatsApp spoke English and we assumed he would be there to greet us but we were met with a partner who only spoke Italian. We were led to believe our contact would greet us, he did not.

Has a great view but that’s it.

We traveled through Sicily for 12 days staying in places around €500 for 2 nights but this place was by far the worst. The cleaning bill is €90 but you have strict rules about any rubbish, dishes or sand in the apartment or they will fine you €30 for each. You have to remove all rubbish or you will be fined. Our A/C poured water out all over the hall, the shower runs out of hot water for 4 people and there are 61 steps up to the unit so if you have a suitcase to will be in big trouble . Second bedroom single beds are sooo noisey and has wires hanging out of one of the switches, what can I say 😫

4 floor no lift Main fuse seems undersized… tough walk down to the entrance and reset the main circuit breaker. Household bit outdated
