The Helm Garden Terrace

Such a beautiful place. Staff was amazing! Graciously picked us up at train station!

We loved everything about this place.

Clean,spacious, quite apartment in nice area. Fine breakfast included and Susan extremely pleasant and helpful to deal with.

The shower was very weak and temperature was fluctuating. Don't like carpet on stairs or mat in living room for hygiene reasons.

It was everything we needed in a quiet location. Walking distance to Westport and the quays.

Very comfortable, clean, breakfast was gorgeous and staff are so nice. We will be back.

People were getting work done next door and the work men were using the back entrance of our apartment all the time so we had no privacy at all and the Helm need to address this immediately.

Great location. Staff were very friendly. The breakfast was lovely. The bar serves beautiful evening meals, too.. Great views from the location. As its outside of the main town, it's very peaceful.

8 kg washing machine and separate dryer. We Liked that there was a 2 nd toilet downstairs, an outdoor setting and lawn.Large kitchen and comfortable lounges. Walking distance to Westport town and supermarket.

We had to report to management that there was no dishwashing tablets or kitchen sink plug supplied. This was delivered to us mid afternoon the next day. There was a poor selection of mismatched glassware ( see pictures) , 2 wine glasses of different sizes and shapes ,and no placemats/ cork mats, the cutting board was so small, old and stained it should not be there.No oven glove, dish cloths, drying rack for washing up, no handtowel in downstairs toilet. Only 4 old wire coat hangers supplied in a otherwise large wardrobe. Surprisingly all rubbish had to taken down the hill and dumped in a parking lot rubbish bin. Recyclables were supposed to be taken to a nearby supermarket. We have never stayed anywhere where there was no large outside waste bin supplied. When we arrived, the very strong smell of bleach was overpowering. We had to leave the back doors open to decrease the intense bleach smell.

This property was everything we could ask for. Checkin was so easy. Shane was a pleasure to deal with. The property was spotlessly clean. The property has everything you needed should you wish to eat in and have a chilled night in or was close enough to the town to have a night out etc. I would highly recommend and will definitely be booking again. Thank you all.
