Double Room in Bungalow

The location and that was all.

There was no towel in my room, no toilet paper in the bathroom and the bin in the bathroom was full up and it stayed that way for four days. My room had mess on the floor. But the worst thing was that at 8am every morning I was woken up by builders drilling and making a lot of noise in the garden which was outside my bedroom. I think the least they could have done when booking out the room was make me aware what was happening outside my room. I wanted to work from my room but it was impossible with the amount of noise and had to seek alternative accommodation during the day so I could get my work done.

Easy access to transportation

-found the bathroom dirty -kitchen diety - construction going on and I was never notified, I had to bear with drilling of the basement for 4 days and cut my booking short. -

The room has a patio with glass doors to the outside. Would be great for summer visit. I lived there in December and the heating is sufficient as well. Facilities are sufficient, you got everything you need in the kitchen. The room and bed is clean. 4 rooms share 2 toilets and 1 shower, thus toilet isn’t too crowded which is good. The room is quiet but I was lucky with quiet neighbors.

Security is a concern as the room uses code lock to the main entrance. Anyone knows the code could go in the apartment. The mattress is not very soft. The room is decorated very basically but for the price level it’s good because you can live comfortably there.

Nothing. It was a disaster.

There was a mouse running across the room and on my bags and I had to move out early. I told the owner I would request a refund and the owner instead accused me of making up reasons (and I ended up not getting the refund). I stayed in multiple short-stay places in London for the last two weeks and I enjoyed my stay with all other ones except this one. I honestly recommend anyone to NOT stay in this place, for its unhygienic environment and terrible staff.

I liked having a private room. I liked having a separate toilet to the shower. I liked the kitchen and the supplies. Laundry machine is also great and plenty of storage for food items. Amazing kitchen, I must say.. other than the fact that there is no functional knife. The restrooms were also decent and decently clean despite being a bit cobwebby.

My duvet and was cum stained come to discover - apparently the owner does not wash their sheets which is mildly concerning. There was no general area to sit and various items like iron machine board, hoover, and clothes rack were stored in general area. There was a very blunt knife in the kitchen which was a bit annoying considering that there was almost everything else. The location is also super far from anything significant so you'll be paying a pretty penny to travel. Instructions were not given about how to check in on booking.com - have to check email for check in instructions and god forbid you have to call the owner, yikes.
