Sicilian Retreat - Mondello Gorgeous Apartment

Host gentile anche se mai visto, comunicato solo via whatsapp. Casa spaziosa, anche se si sente tantissimo la mancanza di un balcone. L'appartamento si trova vicinissimo alla spiaggia di Mondello, anche se abbiamo sempre trovato sia spiaggia che mare molto sporchi, forse in altri periodi non lo è.

Pilastri in casa che limitano tanto lo spazio, forse progettati da un architetto non in sé o forse appartenevano a balconi eliminati. Bagno cieco e pressione dell'acqua spesso insufficiente. Immondizia non si può buttare nei cassonetti condominiali per precedenti comportamenti non idonei di altri inquilini. Maniglie porta casa, sia esterna che interna, da aggiustare assolutamente(già segnalate da altro villeggiante il 16giugno ma ancora non riparate, dopo 2 mesi). Materasso letto matrimoniale troppo morbido. Migliorabile la pulizia. Parcheggio a pagamento molto distante da casa, se no rischi multa lungo la stradina dove si trova l'appartamento.

The flat is equipped with most things for enjoyable holidays for a family with 3 kids: comfy beds, 2 air cons, washing machine and well equipped kitchen. We were also glad that there were soap, washing liquids, sanitary towels, toilet paper, salt & sugar, olive oil, tea & coffee. The host has even prepared 2 boxes of first aid kit - which shows a high standard of safety. The host Andrea was always available for any questions per WhatsApp.

Handles on the entrance door, toilet door as well as shower tap are quite wobbly and need to be fixed asap.

Location! Very safe area, quite as well. Close to the beach and piazza where you can find everything you need such as restaurants, supermarkets, bars etc. Host is very kind and helpfull and super easygoing to reach out to if any questions. Appartment has all the facilities.

minor minus is that you must park in the street and it took us a while to find a good spot

Bed was missing few wooden planks, however did not affect my quality of sleep.
