"We had a good stay at Cueva con Vista and I would recommend it for anyone staying in Pyrgos"

Location was good, 5 minutes walk to the main street with bars & restaurants for breakfast etc and 5 minutes walk through the village to Penelope's restaurant and the upper part of Pyrgos village. The apartment was lovely, very modern, nice decor and bedlinen, lovely soft towels. Nice spacious terrace with views to the eastern side of the island and a washing line - with pegs! - which came in useful! It was also very quiet. Harry the owner picked us up from the airport and also carried our suitcases up all the steps! He was also very helpful in booking a restaurant for us and speaks excellent English.

The shower looks amazing however the shower column is situated in the wrong place in the shower unit so there is too much water for the overflow and the floor gets wet. There is a wardrobe however the bottom 2 drawers are un-usable due to the fact that it's up against the wall. There are approximately 100 steps up to the apartment which I didn't realise when I booked - however you can avoid them by walking up through the village

It is close to Pyrgos old town. Good bed, and the shower was very good too.

Just missed to advise there are a lot of stairs to get to the property, but Harry was very kind and helped with my lugagge.

"Disappointed!"

Very basic and wasn't prepared. The room is authentic with lovely view and balcony. The amenities were a fridge and kettle but no glasses, no jugs, no tea/coffee. The owner did manage to get me 2 mugs but didn't have a spoon. No shampoo or soap. We had unpacked our bags onto the two single beds ( we had a double). We had alot of stuff and part way through putting them away. Went out for a stroll and I was just enjoying lunch when I received a text from the owner......with photos of our belongings on the bed!! We hadn't asked for housekeeping g so breach of privacy. Not to mention the rude correspondence. We upped and left that same day. Got a refund.
