Beautiful. On the water. Clean.

I cannot think of a thing.

Breakfast were amazing .First time I had southern Gritts in awhile Location was great.easy to get to other areas on the grounds.

Would liked Tv in room.Thats ok Better able to focus on other important things

The rooms were extremely clean, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the location was in very close proximity to the amphitheater where we attended a concert. A lovely experience overall. The grounds of the institution are beautiful!

Parking within the institution is a bit tricky

Lake Chatauqua and this gated community were a most wonderful find. I am reluctant to give this the rave review it deserves because it seems like an undiscovered gem and I don't want to ruin that. First, Camille, the manager of the Women's club is one of those gracious people who is a born hostess. The breakfast she made was sublime. The building and the bedrooms are first class -- it's like staying at a very affluent family member's home. The view of the lake from my room was unobstructed. It's right next door to the big hotel, which has great food (don't miss the red pepper soup). It's lovely and peaceful, I could go on and on. I wish I'd stayed here longer than one night.

Everything! It was perfect. It was amazingly clean, super homey and comfortable. Very convenient to the amphitheater. Breakfast was a 5 star experience. This said, it all can be replicated but Camile and her staff are the very reason I’d return. They couldn’t do more for us than they promised, offered and did. The turn of the century furnishings and decorations make you feel like you’re at the Kentucky Derby and Williamsburg at the same time.

We were there over the Labor Day weekend, after the Chautauqua Institute programs (and crowds) were gone. So, it was very quiet and enjoyable time to visit. Camille is an excellent inn keeper. Her breakfasts were exceptional and on par with the best of our B&B experiences. The rooms were comfortable and exceptionally clean. The personalized bedrooms are interesting. Made us feel like we were sleeping over at a friend's or relative's (very nice) historic house. The location is perfect with easy access to the Athenaeum Hotel, waterfront, bell tower and other Chautauqua Institute facilities.

It is an older, historic building, so sound and noise may be an issue during busy times...but, we had no issues. The proximity to the Athenaeum Hotel found some noise coming over from the weddings, but again, it did not bother us. Parking could be an issue during the season, but off-season was fine.

Great historic house with 4-5 rooms on the second floor. Everything was updated and spotless. The breakfast made by Camille was over the top. Our room looked out on the lake. There is a nice common area with a breakfast nook, refrigerator, microwave, etc. Very peaceful. Right next to the Antheneum.
