El Callejon Guest House

Fantastic stay at a wonderful guesthouse. The owners were lovely people who look after you, offering us electrolytes when realising that my partner had stomach issues. Good location, only 5 minutes walk from the main square. Large room with good space. Airconditioning if you want it (for a bit extra per night). Good laundry service. Good kitchen. Highly recommend.

Like many places around Central America, the drainage could be improved, e.g. the water stayed in the shower a bit more than was ideal.

The apartment and the house are very clean and there is everything you need. The hosts are friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, just two blocks from the Central Square with many shops nearby.

Everything was really nice. The only thing you might possibly improve is that the towels are changed more frequently. Otherwise there isn't anything that could be improved.

Great place. Good shower (like in almost all Nicaragua no hot water but we didn’t need it), wifi and very nice and helping hosts!

The host and his nice were super super nice, they were really caring. Even though they did not speak English ( and our Spanish is very basic) the host used translator to communicate with us which was very helpful. We also used the laundry service which was great. I would recommend to anyone going to Leon to stay at this place.

calm, spacious and very comfortable accommodation. There was use of a kitchen with a lovely garden area to sit and relax. there was tes and coffee provided to help yourself all day and chilled drinking water. Everyday our room was tidied and cleaned with fresh sheets. Our laundry (at a very reasonable price) was delivered to our room smelling lovely and folded beautifully. this was a really lovely place to stay. It isn’t a place to stay if you want a party atmosphere - we loved the calm quiet environment with a central location.

booked last minute as we we’re stuck with nowhere to stay at 11pm at night! We still managed to book this and the host was really nice and helpful. Room was spacious and comfortable

We arrived in late off a 30 hour bus from Guatemala and just wanted a private room and our own space - this was exactly what we needed. The room was quite hot but there was a fan and to be honest we were so exhausted we hardly noticed. The facilities were great and the staff were friendly - they allowed us to pay at checkout so we could get some money out and so we could just head straight to sleep when we arrived.

It was quite hard to find the property, especially late at night.
