Camera piccolina ma graziosa, dotata anche di un piccolo angolo cucina. Posizione assolutamente strategica in pieno centro storico e con il mare proprio davanti la porta. Chi gestisce il tutto, ci ha permesso di fare il check-in molte ore prima del previsto e siamo grati per questo! Ci ritorneremo volentieri. Monopoli è una piccola bomboniera, proprio come questa camera!

We were picked up by the hosts from the train station for a fee, they assisted in taking our suitcases to the property and helped us obtaining the keys. The location is right in front of the beach if you wish to swim. Its in the heart of Monopoli.

The shower was cold for one of our nights, the shower has a hot water switch which we weren't told about, once contacted the hosts they assisted with this. Room is located outside a main walkway so can get noisy.

Location was convenient a short stroll into the historic centre. Plenty of restaurants to choose from. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Minimarkets close by and a fresh fruit truck arrived outside every day. Beach outside the door but you could not sit there as there were no seats or umbrellas to rent and none provided by the property.

The noise every night!!! This apartment was on a very buy laneway, literally outside the door. There was a constant flow of people passing and a lot of traffic driving by. Every morning around 7.30 a.m. used bottles from local restaurants were picked up by someone but they poured the bottles into some kind of truck which made such a loud noise. The shower was very very small and a difficult to get in and out & I do not have any accessibility issues. There was no window in the apartment.

Fantastic location, right next to the beach! nice sized room and comfortable to stay in. Check in was very easy with a lockbox.

If you have a car, the parking is a bit of a nightmare if in peak summer.

The location is perfect! It’s 5 sec to the beach. The service is excellent, communication went very smoothly! Also the appartment is very nice for two people. You have al the ingredients for a nice stay at Monopoli.

The agent who met me to give me the keys was extremely nice, if slightly unbothered by the fact that I had to waste around 15 minutes trying to get into the flat (at a critical time) when the keys got stuck in the door.

That this place is spartan I totally get is the charm of the apuglian dimora, and is more than made up for by the excellent location next to the beach stairs. Small modern adjustments like a towel hanger could, but were not, made use of, to make life in this dimora a BIT easier. Basic utensils such as a traditional ironing board were also not available, when I asked. However, what you also need to accept is a part of the Local Charm as well. is that every single person who passes on the street (and MANY do, as it's the main alley of the town) feels like they're in bed with you. Constant revving motors too. It's not a place you will want to spend any more time in than absolutely necessary for you to get ready and go out. Can't really say I recommend it either for a holiday stay or as a conference stay as in my case. Finally, I had to go through *enormous* unnecessary bureaucracy to check in for this poor 4 night stay. Pages and pages of web forms and documents that needed to be signed. Then, security codes upon security codes and verification emails upon verification emails. I've had apartment rental procedures that were easier than this brief hotel stay! never in my life has this happened to me, and in 20 years of using booking.com. Speaks poorly not necessarily of the property itself but probably rather to the inefficacy of the Italian system. This could still make this place recommendable, depending on personal preference. I would myself not stay here again though.

Very central location , 2 steps from the main beach . Very comfortable bed and pretty fresh even without aircon.

Pretty noisy at any time , day and night because the place is located in a big pedestrian stretch . A bit dark with a mould smell , especially in the bathroom . Shower is very tiny , not recommended for big people.
