Picturesque costal cottage, quite and peaceful

The house is in an amazing spot. Has a view of the abbey and town below. Close to tourist attractions. Quiet place to put your feet up after exploring the region with board games, books, DVD for the kids and a toasty little fireplace. Steph was very responsive and easy to communicate with as well.

The breakfast was ok ; as I had to cook it myself 🤣🤣. The property is just amazing, beautifully located. I must say I was very nervous to drive up the road, but Stephanie was amazing send a recording how to get there ( not that helped me much 😅). Highly, highly recommend this property - you will not be disappointed! Must visit Ferry Inn, food is just beautiful and staff can’t do enough for you. Live the fact that kids menu has an option for salad/ veg!! Wished we stayed longer. Stephanie, we will be back 😍

Beautifully and sympathetically renovated so the cottage remains full of character and charm but also comfortable and convenient. The all-important wood burning fire is its focus. The location is also brilliant. Down a peaceful road with spectacular views over the Abbey, village and river with room to park your car safely and freely just yards from the door. The hosts took great care over the details to make their place spectacular and user-friendly. Even filmed a useful video to lead you safely to the door.

Nothing - it’s perfect.

Quiet. All what I needed was there. Lovely views, left living room curtains open at night as Cardigan town lights in distance. Owner kept me updated and checked via text if all ok. Hotel stays have constant noise from other guests here there was no noise.

Everything was great

The cottage was comfortable, quiet, and with good views across the valley. It had all the things we needed and everything worked, apart from some of the lights which kept fusing, but we got used to that and didn't mind. We really enjoyed our stay and it was a good location for everything we wanted to do on our visit to the area.

The only problems were finding somewhere to park nearby and the narrowness of the lane. We could only park in the suggested bay nearby for half of our visit as it was often full of other cars. The worst thing was because the lane was so narrow in places, if someone parked inconsiderately (which happened several times) it made it very difficult to get through, and once I had to reverse up the lane after getting stuck behind a delivery van who couldn't get through at all. I realise that not much could have been done about this, but some kind of warning might have been useful.

Amazing views

Fully functioning kitchen with everything you need. The house is clean and comfortable. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. We got wood for the fireplace chopped and delivered to us.

There was nothing we could complain about. The only thing is the street is very narrow, which could be an obstacle to some, but it wasn't a problem for us.
