Peaceful location, ideal after a busy day to relax

The location was handy for visiting family

The bathroom had mould, the roof in the living room has a huge damp patch, shower cubicle faceplate was broken, ashtray outside on decking was full of cigarette butts, decking was rotten, garden fence was falling down, bathroom toilet flush was broken. Bathroom window was melted down to obvious previous fire, no locks or handles on doors.

The house is in a great location and is very spacious

The Shower in the main bedroom didn't work, it's controlled by a remote control and the remote showed the message ' Connection Error' so shower unusable. The oven and grill pan in the kitchen were dirty and full of grease so had to be cleaned prior to use. Both showers in the ensuites had problems with the doors making it difficult to use without causing water damage. Lack of cooking utensils such as oven trays, frying pans etc. No curtains in one of the bedrooms and the fitted blinds not able to block view from exterior.

Good location and could check in early so a big bonus.

Property needs some TLC, damp patches on ceiling in living room, paint peeling off in ensuite, lots of handles missing off doors and cupboards, decking in garden rotten and dangerous if children were playing in garden. A manual for the house with instructions for heating and microwave etc would have been beneficial. Plenty of room, if the above points are addressed it is a great house for large families.

The house was a perfect size for our party and the location was great. Comfy beds, big kitchen and good facilities and the host was really friendly.

Some rooms could have done with curtains and some mood lighting.
