The location was quiet and a bit removed from the city, but still easy to access using the local bus system. Louise, who checked us in, was super welcoming and very helpful about suggesting places of interest and things to do as well as where to find a cheap, delicious breakfast only a few minutes walk away.

The only downside was that the kitchen is currently closed, so it's really more of a "Bed" only not a "Bed & Breakfast". We were told of a lovely cafe only a few minutes walk away, though, that had a great coffee shop and breakfast menu that was delicious and reasonably priced. That definitely made up for the lack of breakfast on-site.

It was kisch..artsy. One of those intstagrammable ones..if we were into Instagram. It was brilliant, really. and the extras.. like hot chocolate, a choc bar, peanuts, biscuits. That went beyond hospitality. We met the hostess and she was extremely kind and cheery.

Everything was great! Louise was super helpful. The room was nice, big, clean, silent and comfortable! You have a bus stop just in front of the hotel and you are in the city center in minutes. We could park there, super convinient. Totally recommended!

The decor is quirky and fun but done with taste. The hostess was very welcoming and so informative about local amenities, ie bus service, nearby Hub cafe and interesting local details.

Quirky design with a touch of shabby chic

Not very clean, uncomfortable mattress and far from the city centre . I had booked a room with en-suite bathroom and was given a room with an outside bathroom instead, granted that it was exclusive to our room but still, getting up at night and facing to walk down the landing to reach it was far from practical.
