Saxon Park Farm Cottage

The farm is breathtaking, peaceful and beautifully kept. The sandstone cottage cozy and tastefully decorated making it a perfect place to unwind. The hosts are so friendly and welcoming, and their dogs add so much charm to the experience. Saxon Farm Cottage is an absolute Gem.

Accommodations had excellent decor creating a relaxing and homely environment. Well kitted out kitchen. Just the kind of accommodation we needed to relax after extensive traveling in South Africa

Nothing that the hosts will be able to rectify, but the roads in the area are in a very bad state

The cottage is situated on a working farm, so expect all the usual farm sites and sounds. We would have liked to stay longer and have more interaction with the owner and animals. We hope to come back again. The facilities are very well thought of everything we needed was provided. We could not have asked for more.

Saxon Park is a perfect spot to unwind Beautifully decorated rooms and kitchen with everything you might need. We loved that it is not on a main road and too close to a town, which makes it very peaceful. We ordered frozen, home cooked meals from a neighbor, which were delicious and very convenient. What a privilege to experience life on a farm in the beautiful Free State!
