Kolstert Cozy Beach Gem

The location was excellent! Very close to the beach, but not on the beach. Also, there was free WiFi available with a smart TV.

Kitchen cupboards are starting to fall apart. There was a very small fridge that didn't cool properly. The light switches took us a while to figure out, as the switch in the room doesn't switch on the light in that room. Wood decking at the braai area and washing line gives way when walking on it. Stairs to the loft area felt very unsafe. Upstairs double bed would be more suited for children/teenagers.

Place is run down, windows never cleaned in weeks, maintenance does not exist, paint and plaster dropping from the wall, bird or bat poo probably on top of the main bedroom cupboards for months, staircase a safety hazard, top bedroom matras needs replacement, sleeper couch keg broken, electricity trips ect. When we phoned the Hostess she informed us that she is on holiday and will send another cleaner the next day. We booked out the next day. Will never make use of booking.com again. J Ebersohn

Location of this self catering unit was great, with easy access to the beach.

The staircase can do with a secure banister, it is difficult for an older person to go up there, though the room upstairs was lovely. The kitchen can do with better lighting and a few glass dishes with lids. Some of the pillows can do with replacement.
