London gateway get-away

I booked here thinking my flight was from Heathrow but was actually Gatwick, but very glad for the error. Friendly and attentive host, comfortable room with private bathroom, very good value for money,would use again.

It was the hosts actual home. No lock on the room door. Had to be let in and out by the hosts where it's their private home too. It didn't state on booking.com that it was the hosts actual home and not a hotel. As 2 females traveling it needs to be made clearer if the booking would be in the hosts actual home or it could be classed as a safeguarding issue. I agree with previous reviews that the room was tired and needed an upgrade. There's black mould all over the bathroom and the fan didn't work. There were insects flying around in the room and ensuite bathroom. Needs a fan in the room where one bed is against the radiator. As it's ground floor and has no net curtains when you do open the curtains you're looking straight at the carpark and everyone can clearly see into the room. Very little privacy if you book this room.

Alles was netjes,en correct ,perfect,betaalbaar om londen te bezoeken ,goede verbindingen,En heel aangename eigenaars. openbaar vervoer zeer gemakkelijk berijkbaar naar centrum,Picadilly Circus lines is op wandelafstand ,restaurant Honeymoon in hounslow was echt topper. Wij waren er voor rugby en hebben het rugbystaduim,heel gemakkelijk te voet kunnen bereiken. Kan er alleen maar positief over vertellen.

Friendly and lovely hosts. Quiet and comfortable. En-suite shower and toilet.

Fabulous spacious self contained room equipped with everything you could need including tea, coffee, water and even hot chocolate!

It was cheap.

There were small insects on the bed and in bathroom, also mosquitoes. And the room had an unpleasant smell. Also the room was very dark and with no lock. I didn’t feel very safe at night, didn’t sleep at all. The owner didn’t give us key to the apartment, so we had to ring the bell to be let in while there were no lock to the room.

This is a very good value home stay room with very friendly and helpful hosts. The location is excellent only 10 minutes walk from the tube with easy access to Heathrow,

The shower was a little tired.
