"Nizwa was geweldig, het hotel niet."

Nog nooit hebben wij tijdens onze reizen in een kamer verbleven zonder ramen en van hooguit 15m2. Op ons Booking document stond Deluxe kamer met kingsize bed. Dat laatste klopte, maar dan wel waarschijnlijk met een lengte van 1.80m, want mijn voeten bungelden gedurende de nacht buiten het bed. En voor zover wij konden nagaan was er ook geen brandmelder op de kamer. De aangeboden parkeergelegenheid blijkt een grote parkeerplaats te zijn net buiten de stadsmuren, enkele honderden meters bij het hotel vandaan. Dat stond in het boekingsformulier niet aangegeven. De vraag of er dichter bij het hotel nog parkeergelegenheid was, werd negatief beantwoord. Het ontbijt was buiten het hotel en was overigens van prima kwaliteit. Het merkwaardige was wel dat als je koffie bij het ontbijt wilde je extra moest betalen. Voor 120 euro per nacht hadden we toch echt meer verwacht.

"Restored ancient building in Nizwa centre"

Really interesting place to stay in an ancient restored house inside the Nizwa town walls. Beautiful views from the rooftop and minutes from the souq. A really evocative place to stay and made very comfortable. Note that you cannot drive your car to the door but they can collect you and your luggage in a golf cart. Also make sure to park outside the city walls as the gates are closed overnight and you will get stuck if you have an early departure. They also recommended a great restaurant 2 minutes walk away. Good wifi and friendly staff.

Nothing. If you enjoy history and ancient buildings this is a treat.

Wunderschönes altes, neu restauriertes Hotel in traditionellem omanischen Stil. Geschmackvoll eingerichtete Zimmer, bekamen sogar eine kurze Führung durch den Hausherrn. Gute Lage, alles zu Fuss erreichbar.

Wunderschönes Cafe zum Frühstücken, Kaffee oder Pfefferminztee mussten leider extra bezahlt werden.

Tolle Lage mitten im alten Teil von Nizwa. Alles zu Fuß zu erreichen. Ein wirklich großer Parkplatz ist auch sehr nah.
