Casa Refúgio dos Canhas

We had the loveliest time at Casa Refúgio dos Canhas! Our host Vanessa was so nice, kind and spoke perfect English! We cannot recommend this place enough! We went to Madeira for our honeymoon and Vanessa made sure we had the best time there! She contacted us before our stay, gave us recommendations on where to eat and what to see, she also recommended the most perfect car rental place and provided us with all the needed information. Everything went extremely smoothly, she organised a honeymoon surprise for us, decorated the houes for the special occasion and provided us with some complimentary champagne, fruits and even went out of her way to get us some groceries as we got to the house late in the evening. The house itself was sparkling clean, looked exactly like in the photos and we enjoyed staying there very much! The garage was a huge perk and the location allowed us to enjoy some nice views and some needed calmness! The jacuzzi was amazing, we had towels, robes, toiletries provided as well! If you want your stay at Madeira to be special, book this place! I would especially recommend it for couples or even families as there is plenty of space, games and enough plates and everything you need in case you feel like cooking. Everything was perfect!

This house was absolutely amazing, the inside and garden were so gorgeous! We loved the hot tub and got great use of it! Vanessa and Catarina were so helpful and kind, they were so quick to reply to any questions and had great recommendations of places to go and things to do! The location has great views and is lovely and quiet!

Absolutely perfect accommodation! Garage parking, spacious apartment, perfectly equipped, jacuzzi, view, children's playroom. In addition, a great hostess Vanessa.

Lieu magnifique, très bien équipé et spacieux avec un extérieur

Eau du jacuzzi trop fraîche, nous avons dû demander des explications pour augmenter la température. Matelas de la chambre bleue peu confortable pour 2 personnes

Kevésbé frekventált helyen található, ezért csendes, nyugodt és kellemes környezetet biztosít. Van helyi buszjárat, de autó ajánlott. Egy kapuval leválasztott kis utcáról lehet megközelíteni. A nagy terasz gyönyörű kilátással rendelkezik, ugyanakkor védett a kíváncsiskodó pillantásoktól. A tulajdonos, Catarina a foglalásunktól kezdve segítőkészen és proaktívan kommunikált tökéletes angolsággal, minden üzenetünkre egy órán belül reagált, kéréseinket készségesen teljesítette. Catarina sonka- és sajttállal várt minket valamint rengeteg gyümölcsöt és helyi bort is kaptunk, ami nagyon jól esett a hosszú repülés és a késői érkezés miatt. A lakás nagyon tiszta, kártevőktől mentes, modernül és ízlésesen berendezett, egyáltalán nem minimalista, sőt... A képek teljesen megfelelnek a valóságnak, minden működik, nincs lelakva. Szinte mindennel fel van szerelve, amit csak el lehet képzelni. Különböző játék, és sporteszközök állnak rendelkezésre. Tartozik hozzá egy felszerelt iroda is, ha valaki még a szabadsága alatt sem tud lazítani. A poharak, evőeszközök, edények mennyisége elegendő úgy 40 ember számára, bőségesen kaptunk tiszta törölközőket, és nem volt hiány az olyan apróságokból sem, mint a konyhai törlőkendő, a mosogatószer, csomagolófólia, vagy szemeteszsák.

A leírástól eltérően nincs légkondícionáló, csak ventilátorok, amikkel nem lehet fűteni. Nekünk húvösebb hetünk volt, a lakásban kb 18 C fok lehetett, de bőven kaptunk meleg plédeket, takarókat.

La casa è molto grande, pulita ed elegante. Il terrazzo grande con la jacuzzi dove si può passare il tempo per riposare, la vista dal terrazzo è molto piacevole soprattutto di notte!
