La casa dell'archeologo

Es un edificio antiguo pero la habitación cuenta con toda la modernidad y excelentes terminaciones. Además muy bonita decoración.

Más que el alojamiento la ubicación estaba un poco alejada y todo cerraba temprano. Sin embargo había una estación de metro cercana.

Brokastis apmierinošas.Vieta ērta reģiona apskatei. Pastaigas attālumā Portiči-osta. Dzīvoklis plašs,ērts,vēss un gaumīgi iekārtots.

Brokastīs pietrūka kāds svaigs auglis un sula. Apkalpošana laipna, bet brīžiem haotiska.

All was ok

Only self breakfest was all days same. But not problem.

It seemed very secure and was generally quiet inside when the window was fully shuttered.

There was no access to the beautiful courtyard garden space. The room faced a narrow road on the main floor, people and traffic was very close.

Incredibly good value for money. Beautifully furnished room. Plentiful food for breakfast. Love the old villa.

Everything great for the price

Absolutely beautiful room - even better than it looks in the pictures. Really well equipped with microwave, fridge, very fancy-looking coffee machine (I was sad that I don't drink coffee!), kettle, teapot... even a nutcracker for the delicious walnuts, almonds and chestnuts that were provided. These were only a small part of the fabulous spread provided for breakfast and snacks. It's all self-service with the food provided in the room when you check in, so you can help yourself whenever you want. This is particularly handy if you're planning to head out early to see Herculaneum. I let Francesco know in advance that I'm gluten intolerant and I was really impressed that he provided an entirely gluten-free (and very substantial) breakfast, with GF bread, lots of fruit, yoghurt, cheese and more. The room is spotless and has been furnished and decorated to a high standard, in keeping with the style of the grand 19th century building. You have lots of privacy - the room is basically an independent apartment just off the impressive main lobby of the building - but Francesco is nearby if you need anything. The location is handy - about a 10 minute walk from the entrance to the archaeological site. All in all, a fantastic place to stay - it was a privilege to stay in such a beautiful old house.

Good base for exploring the area. Clean comfortable room in a traditional Italian Villa with coffee machine, microwave and kettle.Very secure as has 2 security doors operated using an electronic keycard. Items supplied for a continental breakfast. Owner available on whatsapp if you need them. We had a lovely stay.

Nice apartment with good amenities in a good location. and very affordable!
