Desert Serenity Gateway to Joshua Tree

Nice aesthetic. Short drive to Joshua tree national park. Nice view of sunset and sunrise.

Overall the place is great. Beautifully decorated without being overdone. The kitchen was amazing and well stocked. Even had some pantry staples and seasonings. The pool was great. We were there in the summer, so no need for it to be heated as it was warm outside so it was very refreshing. There were 7 of us and 4 dogs, but we all fit very comfortably. Beds are comfy enough. Check out instructions were simple, nothing too absurd. They let us check in a bit early after I reached out concerned about our dogs walking around in the heat in town, which was very kind. Lots of seating areas all around the house which were great for watching the sunset, and just hanging out. Overall, a great experience.

The spa did not work. We reached out to the contact, and they verified it was on but not heating up, so hopefully that's fixed for the next group. Also, when we arrived one of the toilets had pee all over it, which was gross to clean. Didn't have an issue with cleanliness elsewhere. There are no blinds in the living room area, which has LOTS of windows, so at night it did feel like a bit of a fishbowl, even though there are no neighbors anywhere close.

Fantastic stay in a great house! Clean and up to our expectations. Remote but still close to restaurant and the Joshua Tree west entrance.

The instructions on key collection was not correct which caused some confusion at check-in but was resolved.

The house was in the best location! Right in the entrance of the Joshua National Park, but close to the near by towns.

ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! This place is exactly what it advertised! If you want peace and quiet with a beautiful sunset and sunrise, this is your place! Our family had a wonderful, quiet, and relaxing time at Desert Serenity. The house is gorgeous with ample space. It is also a hop and a skip away from the entrance of Joshua Tree National Park. So convenient! The host was very accommodating and prompt with answering our questions. We HIGHLY recommend Desert Serenity.
