The Living Room Siargao

Really chilled vibes, beautiful finishes in the communal area, fabulous degustation dinner! One of the best we had in Siargao.

Loved the place! It's like an oasis in the jungle a bit. Super gorgeous, the art is all v nice and aesthetic. It feels v homey. Norman was a great host and so was Chene. Everyone was incredibly helpful esp with their recommendations. Their list helped me out significantly and contributed to my love of Siargao. They are so responsive and make sure that you're settled in and have everything you need. Highly recommend, would stay again! I forgot my flip flops here, and they shipped it to an island I was staying at. God sent. Thanks, legends! I'll be back!

Beautiful space, and honestly the softest sheets I have ever slept in Norman is a lovely host, very knowledgeable and gave incredible recommendations

A bit far out of the way! If I knew how to drive a scooter it would have been fine But Norman was so wonderful and gave me a lift to town whenever I needed (and then from there I could easily get a tricycle back)

- The lady working at the property was very friendly and helpful. She provided good local recommendations and tips - The wifi was decent - The location was quiet and isolated - The main living area is well decorated

- The property is difficult to locate/access with no signs and limited street lighting at night. The property is located on top of a steep hill that must be walked up each time (refer photos) - Our room had multiple windows without blinds; not great for privacy or sleeping beyond sunrise - The bathroom was tiny and smelt strange. Water pressure in the shower was limited Overall our experience did not live up to the expectations set by all of the other 10/10 reviews.

The host and the two ladies who are in charge of the cooking and cleaning were welcoming and very helpful. They've given us tips on restaurants, day trips, drivers, scooter rental, surf instructor... The place has a cool, artsy set up...the rooms are clean, but pretty basic.

We were extremely disappointed that from the numerous 5 stars reviews, NOT ONE MENTIONED THE ACCESS TO THIS PLACE which is: a huge puddle that you could only avoid by walking on a piece of wood, followed by jumping on several sand bag improvised steps, then a stretch of muddy road and to top it all, a steep 25m road to get to the place! No lighting whatsoever once the sun has set or if there was no electricity. The soundproofing is non existent...I did not appreciate being woken up in the middle of the night by the owner playing on the phone late at night. I could hear ALL the incoming message notifications, then various short videos, ended by some lovely snoring. One morning we were woken up at around 7 am by the owner doing a video conference...no consideration towards the guests whatsoever. We & the whole island experienced a blackout that lasted more than 12 hours...no lamps, candles or anything provided! Water pressure was low.

Excellent stay at this lovely guesthouse style property. The hosts go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need and give great tips on local restaurants and the popular daily night life bar events. The location is slightly out of town, but this is a good thing if you don't want to be too close to the busy town centre. This means the place is very quiet, relaxing and peaceful. It only takes a few minutes to get into the main strip by trike, and costs just a few dollars.

I felt like home in a beautiful surrounding and a family like atmosphere you will be hard to fine anywhere else.
