The location was beautiful. We really enjoyed having a place to stay that was not too central, as it allowed us to relax fully after our daily adventures. It was my son's 16th birthday, so I asked the homeowner to help me make his stay special. The home owner left us a chocolate fidge cake, a bottle of wine, a box of chocolates, a birthday banner, and fresh milk in the fridge. I especially loved how comfortable the beds were, so much so that I asked them where they purchased their bedding. I am pleased to say I now have my own set at home. The home had a huge amount of space, which is ideal for a family needing room from one another. Each bedreem had an onsuit, which was a huge advantage in avoiding arguments with the children. The house was exceptionally clean, with brand-new towels.

"The management failed to prepare the house for arrival. no heat,no hot water, no refund"

The location and we were very lucky with the weather. Had sun every day!

The location supplied from the management company did not match the acutal location of the property. We arrived after dark and one party could easily find the property but the other party had great difficulty because they used the location details in the arrival email instructions whereas the other used just the post code. On the photo the blue dot is the dropped pin from the house and the red dot is the location supplied by the management company. the management company did not check the fuel oil level before we arrvied and the last day of our rental the boiler ran out of fuel oil and we had no heat or hot water and the temperature inside the house dropped to 12oF. The management refused to offer any compensation. Pity it ruined our trip.
