Clean, comfortable cabins with a good location

Innovative design and more space for us as a family than a hotel room. Well equipped kitchen and very clean. It was convenient to Moab for meals etc and also to the parks.

I guess we regretted the substantially higher cost than the hotel’s we stayed in for the rest of the trip, we stayed 2 nights and both days spent long days at the national parks so we didn’t really benefit from the extra space and facilities on site. It was more a mismatch in planning than anything specific. Our cabin also looked into the bungalow in the adjacent property which wasn’t particularly attractive, though the view beyond to the cliffs etc was impressive.

The location is great.

The air conditioner in our cabin stopped working and it wasn’t repaired until 4p the next day and went out again that evening. I was told by the HVAC service guy that all of their air conditioners are faulty in the cabins and the owners are just band-aiding the issues until they absolutely have to replace them. I did receive 1 night refund but I was told that this isn’t usually done. I did feel a 2 night refund was justified since it was 2 nights that we did not have air conditioning. The cabin does not come with outside patio table and chairs, no cabin specific BBQ (only 1 community charcoal BBQ available for the entire campground) and no fires were allowed unless we wanted to rent a propane one from them. The cabin has a stove but no oven safe cookware to use it. The staff were not helpful overall and had no ability to make any decisions. They always had to talk to someone else to see what to do.

Location and access to surrounding things to do. Comfortable bed in the main room and nice shower. Additional comfort facilities were appreciated as we had 4 people staying in one cabin.

Unfortunately the fire pit wasn’t working, and we found a cockroach packaged up in one set of bed sheets. The view was ok but there was a creepy abandoned house blocking the best bit.

We had a handicap unit and the showerhead was hard to place without getting water outside the shower. There also seemed to not be a lot of hot water for a family of 4.

Overall the accommodation was satisfactory.

Our late check in paperwork wasn’t at the customer welcome center and we needed to contact the after hour phone number.

Tony house was nice

There was no shade for the deck facing west. Blinding sun and heat all afternoon til sunset
