A lovely haven of tranquility. Deer come to the garden. Jack Rabbits too. Host is lovely and kind. Fabulous country and views. A great place to destress when on a long trip.

This is a secluded place with beautiful views. Wildlife on the property and the fact they have a refuge for horses right behind it is so sweet. The hosts were kind and we really enjoyed our stay.

If you are looking for a bucolic getaway, this might be just the place. It's relatively close to Moab where you can find an espresso, meals, treats...and crowds of people. At Mt. Peale, you have peace and quiet, minimal road noise, birds and deer to watch and a porch to sit and read on. The hosts are friendly and helpful. In fact, we were halfway to Durango when Amanda called us and let us know we left a bag. Though hours away, she really saved us a much longer trip back since we were near Durango and headed onward to Zuni. We got to walk out and visit their horse sanctuary. La Sal was much cooler than Moab, Being from Seattle, that was welcome after hot Moab. There was a well-equipped kitchen for making meals and space in a share fridge where we could freeze our cooler's ice pack. My wife appreciated the plush towels.

The room is so dark between dusk and dawn with the window coverings pulled that a nightlight or cell phone are essential to navigate from bed to bathroom during the night. Beds and breakfasts are subjective. We wished the bed wasn't the soft/foamy type which can provoke allergies/congestion and a tired back, Breakfast is informal and continental in a self-serve format.

The breakfast was very good and she offered a wide array of choices. The view was fantastic. The room was very cozy and comfortable. The location was great- close to the national parks.

Beautiful, remote location, with FANTASTIC hosts. Not only were the hosts helpful during our stay, but went out of their way to contact us when they found a sentimental item we forgot, mailing it to us. Highly recommend this property and host!
