Mount Peale Country Inn near Moab

Host Amanda made this a special stay: breakfast simple healthy plentiful coffee and teas excellent. Hostel like community room, kitchen , dining, outdoor porch - very pleasant and large.. we cooked our own dinner, all utensils, dishwater, refrigerator provided. We enjoyed talking with other visitors. Unique, and peaceful mountain area and horse sanctuary create a healing type environment for all.

We arrived after dark and had difficulty finding the entrance because there was no signage or lighting on the road. We finally called host to get further help. The presence of so many deer on the roadway made it a bit dangerous. They might consider placing salt licks in the forested area to keep the deer from hanging out in the middle of the road. Our room could benefit by a pull curtain to increase privacy with glass sliding door. Sink in room is difficult with shelf so low. I’m sure hosts want to make guests as comfortable as possible.

Beautiful location. 10 degrees cooler than Moab. Very peaceful. The host was extremely nice and helpful. Beds were comfortable. Good breakfast. We had full use of kitchen. There’s a large lounge we used for watching tv.

Our room was quite small including the bathroom but we made it work. The host is making improvements gradually which will help for the future. I didn’t see any of the other rooms which may be larger. Ours was just kind of funky but worked out fine.

Though I was only there one night, I enjoyed my stay very much. Comfortable room, delicious breakfast, stunning views of the mountains, and a peaceful serene setting, complete with a lovely garden to sit in and watch the birds over morning coffee, and tbe sanctuary horses to visit. Amanda was a wonderful host. Highly recommend!

I honestly can't think of a single thing!

Would highly recommend Mount Peale Country Inn. From check-in to check-out, it was filled with genuinely friendly, professional, relaxing, and restorative experiences. Come here if you want to travel the path less travelled when staying in the general Moab area (especially if you want to escape the heat). The mountains and nature are stunning. The wooden lodge type accommodations are beautiful. The staff treat you like family or an old friend. Breakfast was great. Do yourself a favor and stay here!

We loved so many things about our stay at the Mt. Peale Country Inn. It feels more like a bed and breakfast. Amanda was a wonderful host and she provided a wonderful breakfast. It was a treat! Our room was very clean as well as the bathroom. Our room had wooden planks and beams across the ceiling. The decor was charming in both the bedroom and bathroom. There was lots of warm water for our showers and special body washes and hand soaps. It was very quiet and peaceful during our stay. We learned that there is wildlife sometimes on the property and in the surrounding area. If you enjoy relaxing and enjoy the beauty of the country and the amazing surrounding mountains, this is a perfect place to stay. Definitely check it out. It's a 10/10.☺️

Beautiful country inn, reminds me more of a country lodge. Amanda and Mike are wonderful people, very friendly, went out of their way to make my stay excellent, the are the perfect hosts! Great conversations, learned to play a new card game with Amanda. Breakfast was great, you have multiple choices to choose from and Patrons are allowed to use the kitchen if they wish to cook for themselves. Loved the country setting as I looked out my bedroom window to see the La Sal mountains and snowcapped Mount Peale. It's very quiet, relaxing, nature at its best, a herd of deer walked through the back yard every evening. A horse rescue is behind the property, there are some beautiful, friendly horses. I would definitely stay here again when I am in the Moab area!

I only had one tiny issue, I enjoy a cup of tea at bedtime, which the rule of no food or beverages besides H2O is permitted in the bedrooms. LOL I had a bit of trouble finding it as they had taken the sign down to get refinished and I lost internet service for my GPS. But the little country store in La Sal allowed me to use their wifi so I could call the inn. After that it was easy peasy!
