Central Poole spacious room in Edwardian house

Breakfast was basic but generous,including some lovely homemade marmalade. Facilities were very clean and comfortable.

The friendly welcome

Bev kindly picked me up from the Ferry Terminal and it was a 10 minute drive to the accommodation. It was a room in a private house, Bev explained everything about the house and where the local shops were in a very pleasant, friendly manner. The location was very quiet, the room was nice and warm, comfy bed, clean, fresh bedding and towels and WiFi throughout. I slept like a log. The bathroom was spotless and water piping hot, it was like home from home. I arrived in the evening and left early in the morning to catch a coach, the bus station was a 10 minute walk so the location was perfect. Breakfast was laid out in the kitchen in the morning for me to help myself. I will definitely stay again if passing through Poole and would recommend it to anyone looking for great value and peace & quiet. 5 stars.

No negatives at all

It was a pleasant change to be welcomed into the owner's relaxed home, rather than staying at an impersonal hotel. I had all I needed for a comfortable one night stay, within easy walk of the centre.
