Sunset View Guest House

I enjoyed 3 weeks at the lovely Sunset View Guesthouse! The room was really beautiful, especially the lights, clean and with big windows for bright light. I loved the plants all around and the kind receptionist, owners and cute dog, which gave me a feeling of home. The location is good for any visit of Siem Real city and a stroll along the river. For Angkor Wat a scooter, tuktuk, taxi or bike is needed (about 20-30 min). For solo travellers and couples alike a beautiful home for a stay!

The only minus point were the noises around. Although the accommodation is not located at a street and you won't have any of those rushing noises, unfortunately, a sort of workshop place with sawing and a construction side are close by, starting at 8am or so in the morning. But this is out of the hands of the guesthouse itself and if you are on a trip all day, you won't notice it much.

I paid via booking.com and when i arrived there, they said no money arrived so i paid by cash. I call to booking.com and they said everything is under control, but i have never get any money back. And how they handle this situation in first place in hotel was straight forward bullying, they didn't listen anything, even i was in phone to booking.com. Not happy with that. Just saying be careful with that place.

15 minutes walk to the night market, very clean room and surroundings, parking for scooters behind the gate, super nice staff, cute dog ;) quiet neighborhood, large terrace, very comfortable bed.

We from Myanmar came there for travel Angkor wat . Room is surprise us it clean and so quiet and have a place we can sit and view sunset and drink .location is near to walking street pub street and other like 7/11 and etc a lot of street food distance just only 20 minutes . Room also have free coffee..etc

Everything ! The room was big, clean and beautiful. The location is perfect, 10 minutes away from the night market and pubstreet, so you can enjoy some peace but also go for a little night out if you feel like it. The staff are friendly and helpful if you have any question.

Maybe not the best place to meet people if you're a solo traveler.
