The Carriage at Creagan

Beautifully and luxuriously decorated to ensure a nice stay! Especially loved the shower and the comfortable bed. We will definitely book here again if we return to the area.

The location was perfect, the surrounding scenery is stunning and ideal for hillwalking and cycling. The hot tub/bath is perfect for soothing weary legs after a day of exploring. There is a cycle path directly across the road where you can walk or cycle the 4 miles to the castle where there is a small cafe and gift shop with views over to the castle. There is also a bar/restaurant within a short walking distance of the accommodation which has amazing views over the loch, outdoor seating and heaters and the food is excellent. The accommodation itself is just gorgeous, very quirky and probably the nicest we have ever stayed in. The bed is very comfy and the hosts have thought of everything you might need during your stay.

The carriage couldn’t be more comfortable and well fitted out. It’s literally like the owners have tidied up and just stepped out. Very helpful owners.

Nothing really except I think it’s overpriced. While the accommodation is fantastic the abandoned railway is now a trailer park, albeit a nice one with beautiful views.

Don't have enough good things to say! This was perfect, wish we had booked more than one night. The carriage had such a cosy intimate feel and was a lot of fun, loved all of the rooms and outside area! Everything felt such high quality which gave it a luxurious feel without being too over the top or pretentious. The owners went above and beyond for us and thought of lots of lovely nice touches, and were more than happy to provide anything we needed! The location was lovely as well, would absolutely come back
