The private bath was lovely. The room was quite large and the view of the forest was lovely. Staff were very kind and helpful. We had the half board and enjoyed both dinner and breakfast. Nice variety of pillows and the provided robe was very comfortable.

Very thing was perfectly fine at the hotel, but it all seemed a bit on the older side, which I didn’t expect for the price.

Fue una estancia perfecta. Tanto las instalaciones como la habitación están en perfecto estado y bien equipadas. La habitación con onsen privado una maravilla. También elegimos el masaje que ofrecía el hotel y nos encantó. Por último tienen servicio gratuito en coche a la estación más cercana lo cual está muy bien, y el personal del hotel muy amable. Nos encantaría repetir!

Our room was right next to the falls, which made it really relaxing to listen to. The food was excellent. While some reviews mention it might not suit Western palates, it is definitely very good by Asian standards. The location is secluded and surrounded by mountains, making it perfect for a peaceful getaway. Just a heads up, if you are walking down from the train station, it can be a bit unsafe, so I recommend arranging a ride with the hotel for pick up and drop off

Our room had a musty smell. They could probably improve it by adding a dehumidifier, and the toilet could use a deodorizer.
