Clear, detailed instructions calm and quiet surround, very beautiful house with strong wi fi, well equipped modern, kitchen even with compliment eggs, milk, jam, bread which was very kind. Thank you

Worked perfectly for our stay, I chose it for the location and that it looked lovely and wasn’t disappointed, we know the area and the location was great to be able to meet up with friends, as we no longer live in the area, but have our own space. It was lovely to be able to walk the dog first thing around the many lakes and location was rural and peaceful but also close to all the major roads and easy to get to. Although close to the family home, this was not a problem and for me I liked that people were close by. This was my first solo trip since losing my partner, so just me and our dog and the property had everything you needed. The milk, bread and eggs provided was much appreciated.

Wasn’t anything we didn’t like, so the below are just as FYI…only thing missing was where to put recycling bits, I had spotted the poo bin just outside the main gates so that was easy to find, so used this as required. The main door was sticking a bit, so needed a good shove to open and you may want to check the shower tray, as water was slow to drain. As it was just me travelling I struggled to find it under the instructions when arriving and parked up to find it as the dog was no help… so worth considering using what3words

What's not to love?!

Beautiful location, gorgeous property and facilities. High end finish and appliances and furnishings.

Double bed was comfortable and beautifully laundered bedding but slightly on the small side.

Absolutely stunning property. Very comfy bed and sofa’s. High standard finish throughout. All amenities provided. Lovely welcome gift of fresh eggs, bread and jams. Host Francesca very helpful and great communication throughout. Beautiful cottage, cosy, and a home from home feel.

Unfortunately our daughter became unwell whilst we was away in the cottage for Easter. So the plans we had arranged had to be cancelled. It was a little stressful with her being unwell and taking care of her being away from home. This was very unfortunate however we was happy to be in such a beautiful place, if she was to be poorly and we was to be stuck indoors :-) It took 2 hours to put the travel cot up that was provided, I did call the hosts in the end who were very helpful. Maybe need some instructions left with it on how to use it for future families. The cottage was very clean throughout, however we did find some long black hairs on the floor on the kitchen and on the stairs. I’m not sure if it is hovered and floors washed throughout between each stay.

Perfect little cottage which met all our needs. Lovely host who left us some bread, eggs and jam on arrival which was a very sweet touch. The little village is very sweet and only a short drive from a big supermarket and the Cotswolds Lakes. All in all, a lovely and comfortable stay!

We weren't aware that the hosts live in a house very close to the cottage. This didn't affect our stay as they went away for the weekend however this might bother others.
