AUUSUSWhen we entered the house, there were ants all over the kitchen counter top, cabinets and walls, even in the soap dispenser. It was literally quite nasty. When I mentioned this to host, they said to use ant spray that was already there in the cabinet which tells me it is an existing issue. Tried that, next morning same things. The ant situation made it hard to use the kitchen. When cabinets were open, ants were in the left over coffee creamer that was in the house and other things. This was obviously a cleaning issue. Besides that, the house is OK. More like a grandma house and could use some updating. The communication back from the host is great.

USIt has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, laundry, patio. It is clean, and spacious, excellent for family.
It is a bit far from Yosemite Entrance. It needs drive 40 minutes to the entrance and wait for 20 minutes in the queue at the entrance. Another 20 minute drive to the valley.

AUThe house was very spacious and clean and the host provided very helpful information about the park, the house and nearby towns. The check in process was very easy The house was fully equipped and in a quiet location.
These are very minor things but There was no clothes line or pegs to hang out washing. There were no tea towels to dry the dishes.
GBBeautiful peaceful setting in the woods within an hours drive from Yosemete. Fully equipped kitchen with lots of essentials. Lots of space.
Disappointed that the "hot tub" turned out to be a rather grand bath in the bathroom without bubbles as we were looking forward to a real hot tub after a long journey.
